To help agencies get started on using AASHTOWare Bridge Management software, the Task Force and Mayvue have several tools available to assist with orientation and answering questions.
User Group Meetings are held annually for members of the user community to learn more about the software through presentations, training sessions, and forums. Documentation is available within the software, video guides/tutorials are available on YouTube, and you can always contact us to obtain additional information.
Documentation
The perfect place for agencies to get started with the AASHTOWare Bridge Management software is the Orientation for New Users page.
Online User Manual
Within BrM, help can be found by clicking on the question mark (?) icon in the top right corner of any screen. This tool contains basic details for every screen and controls in the software, as well as Appendix A which gives an overview of the optimization process, and Appendices B and C which give a guided walk-through of running a program optimization.
Technical Manual
Starting with BrM version 6, there is an extensive Technical Manual available to licensed BrM agencies. This manual provides greater detail about the behind-the-scenes processes and calculations and processes to fully inform the BrM users. The Technical Manual also covers installation details, orientation to the database, and the optimization process.
